Perimenopause & Menopause

The body changes. What once worked may not work in quite the same way anymore.

Perimenopause & Menopause

Perimenopause can begin years before we recognise it. Cycles may shift, sleep can change, moods and energy can feel different, and a body that once felt familiar may begin behaving in unfamiliar ways.

Menopause is a biological transition, but its effects don't necessarily stop with the body. It can coincide with changes in how we experience ourselves, our relationships, our work and what we need from our lives. Not every woman experiences this time in the same way, and there is no single story of menopause.

You might be feeling

  • Wondering whether what you're experiencing is perimenopause
  • Trying to understand changes in your body, sleep, mood or energy
  • Finding that familiar ways of coping or caring for yourself aren't working in quite the same way
  • Noticing changes in what you need — from yourself and from others
