Cancellation & Refund Policy

For Active Birth, Birth Art and other single-date workshops or circles:

7 days or more before the start date

You can receive a full refund or transfer your booking to another available date.

Less than 7 days before the start date

Bookings are normally non-refundable. Where possible, you may transfer your place to another available date or to another person.

Before the programme begins, the same cancellation arrangements above apply.

Once the six-week programme has begun, individual missed sessions are non-refundable.

If illness or an unexpected circumstance affects your ability to attend, please get in touch.

If you need to move or cancel an individual session, please let me know at least 24 hours beforehand and we can arrange another time.

Cancellations or changes with less than 24 hours' notice are normally non-refundable, as that time has been held especially for you.

If something exceptional happens, please get in touch.

The programme includes four 90-minute sessions intended to take place over four months.

If you need to move an individual session, the 24-hour arrangement above applies.

If illness or an unexpected circumstance makes it difficult to complete the four sessions within the four-month period, please speak to me. A short extension can be considered where appropriate.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.

Changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are normally non-refundable, as that time has been reserved for you and may include preparation and travel.

Exceptional circumstances can always be discussed.

If I believe massage would not be appropriate or safe on the day, I may suggest adapting or postponing the session. If I cannot safely provide the massage, you will not lose what you have paid: we will arrange another date or a refund where appropriate.

School bookings are agreed directly with the school.

14 days or more before the workshop: the workshop may be rescheduled without a cancellation charge, subject to availability.

7–13 days before the workshop: if the school cancels rather than reschedules, 50% of the agreed fee is normally payable.

Less than 7 days before the workshop: the full fee is normally payable.

Exceptional circumstances can be considered individually.

The specific arrangements will also be stated in the school booking agreement.

If I need to cancel an event or appointment, you will be offered another suitable date or a refund.

If an event is rescheduled and the new date does not work for you, you can receive a refund.

Pregnancy, birth and family life do not always unfold according to plan.

If something unexpected means you genuinely cannot attend, please get in touch. Exceptional circumstances can be considered individually.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and processed as soon as reasonably possible.

The time it takes for the money to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

This policy provides Women's Den's own cancellation and transfer arrangements. It does not remove or restrict any statutory consumer rights you may have.

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to an online purchase, that right operates independently of this policy.
